Strength, passion, and love - They encourage us all, but for Angelica they are the leading forces in her life. In search of healing after a life altering auto accident, Angelica first discovered yoga over ten years ago. Her body not only healed physically but transformed emotionally and she has been dedicated to the practice ever since. After completing an intensive 700 Hour Yoga Teacher Training (Bikram), her desire to share this exciting force has skyrocketed. It is with this vibrant energy that she teaches each class.
Always one to pour her soul into every endeavor, her life accomplishments include acting, modeling, working in real estate and management. After studying Nutrition, Human Anatomy and Physiology in college, she now brings the essential elements of strength, passion and love into teaching. She also completed a Hot Power Fusion and Vinyasa teacher training. Influenced and trained by many other senior teachers including Maty Ezraty, her passion for yoga never stops.
Ask her and she will tell you, “I believe in this--it’s my life.” And her students will admit it, her passion is as contagious as it is inspiring.
Love and family will always be her priority. She is a wife to a loving husband, a mother to a rescued feline, a compassionate yoga teacher, a strong avid yogi, a fitness enthusiast, a creative fashion designer, an animal rights activist, and a promoter of love and kindness. Not only does she live to teach and share the yoga, she is also a flourishing fashion designer. Proud of each and every innovation, she continues to model her own designs, as modeling remains to be a large part of her life and career. Taught by her late grandmother, she acquired the education and was compelled to design and create her own apparel during her teens. She possessed tremendous devotion for high fashion, a unique expression of style, and simply blessed with the natural knack and talent for sketching what comes to her creative mind. A perfectionist with a keen eye to details such as fit, construction, and quality; an advocate for sustainable living with the passion and drive to create beautiful, unique, sexy, and timeless activewear that are kind to our mother earth, she then created Girl On Fire.
